Five O'clock Tea is comfortably the best of these at the weights but just doesn't win over fences where he's now had 14 starts and been placed five times. The Conker Club alternates between hurdles and fences and is generally consistent though he's another with a poor strike-rate and is high enough in the weights. With one victory in 27 starts over fences, Churchfield Champ is another disappointing type though he's now back on a winning mark but a chance is taken on REBEL CRY. He's only had three runs over fences and has been racing over hurdles, where he won here last February. But he’s off such a lowly mark that he's taken to open his account over the bigger obstacles. Miradane has been racing over much further and may do better now tackling the minimum trip.
