Neddyvaughan had been running consistently well before coming here a week ago and gained his rewards with a smooth victory. That was a slightly lower grade contest and he has a 6lb penalty to contend with but it will be a surprise if he's not in the firing-line again. Denis Hogan won this last year so the lightly-raced The Irregular is one to note on his handicap debut while Summer Storm is only 6lb higher than his victory here in October and hasn't been beaten far in subsequent starts. Game Puppeteer has won twice on good going in recent weeks including here but was behind TINTOWN ROBIN (NAP) at Tramore in October. The latter also won at Fairyhouse last month then found 2m3f stretching his stamina at Clonmel so a return to this trip can pay dividends. He had the consistent but luckless Canny Tom behind at Fairyhouse and though the latter is slightly better off the positions can be confirmed.
