      Verdict

MOSCATO was rated 20lb higher than London Prize on the Flat and, though that isn't always the best guide, Oliver Sherwood's charge can make it third-time lucky over timber despite not finding as much as expected over a longer trip last time at Ludlow. Ian Williams' runner ended the Flat campaign in good form and was sent to Down Royal for his hurdling debut. He travelled well for a long way and will know more today. Newera won five times on the level for Tom Dascombe but has first run for new connections and tackles hurdles for the first time. Braw Angus hinted at ability at Huntingdon and looks the pick of Kim Bailey's pair.
