Verdict

Charlie Mon is getting no nearer to shedding his maiden tag and needs forgiving a couple of poor recent efforts. She's Late won an amateurs' race at Ludlow in October but is a very hard ride and 5lb higher here. Captain McGinley makes his chasing debut having shown little over hurdles but Inch Rover was third on his fencing bow at Ludlow, albeit beaten 35 lengths. OLIVER'S HILL is still 4lb higher than when scoring at Plumpton in October but looks in better form than his rivals so gets the nod.
