Shark Hanlon purchased SMADYNIUM after the grey won a Hexham selling hurdle and he then proceeded to turn a handicap chase at Fairyhouse into a procession under Rachael Blackmore. A 9lb rise makes this tougher but if he jumps with the same fluency he should complete a hat-trick. Kilcrea has a course and distance victory to his credit and started favourite for this last year where he was still in front when falling two out. He fell at the first at Galway last time but was a shorter price than Mick The Jiver, who eventually finished third. Moss Grove had been in excellent form before running moderately at Fairyhouse while the track and trip victory of Garrai Phaidin was gained on very testing ground.
