Paddywack has found a new lease of life and can score again at the expense of Catch The Cat, Never Without Me and Millinsky. Paddywack is thriving at present, the veteran having won twice in recent weeks at Beverley, and despite a 6lb penalty for his latest effort, remains very well treated by the handicapper. He is suited by a strong pace, and if they crack out here, the race should be run to suit him. Catch The Cat has not won since last year when with John Wainwright, but is another that is well handicapped on form of old, while Never Without Me is inconsistent as proved by his last of 10 at Catterick, but is not one to rule out lightly. Millinsky has his fair share of weight but it would be no surprise to see him placed, and the market should be noted for the rest. Despite his advancing years, Paddywack stands out on recent form, and he should be the answer.
