In depth

Verdict

Crow's Nest Lad, Ronnie Howe and Eager Igor look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the vote is given to Crow's Nest Lad. The selection was a fair third behind Rainbow Fox last time out, that form has since been franked and as he looks sure to improve again he will be hard to beat. Ronnie Howe rates the main danger but he was behind the selection last time out and there is no obvious reason why he should gain his revenge. Eager Igor is another worthy of respect now that he drops in class and trip and he should be closely watched in the market. Of the remainder Pernomente may be seen to better effect once handicapped while Dotty's Daughter may improve for the fitting of first time blinkers but for the winner we return to Crow's Nest Lad.
