        Verdict

        Questionare went close to defying a penalty when beaten only a neck at Yarmouth but needs to find a bit more while Almost Midnight also came up short at Newcastle having scored at Kempton earlier. It remains to be seen how Newcastle winner Kashagan copes under his penalty but Chester runner-up Bo Samraan is one of the most exposed. Just You Wait finished a lot closer on his latest start at Leicester and steps up in trip today along with SELINO. The latter found only the well-regarded Desert Icon too good at Pontefract on his debut and James Fanshawe’s charge will appreciate this extra distance given he hails from the family of the high-class stayer Invermark.
