        Verdict

        Drum Dance ran well on his first two starts but was then thrown in the deep end in a hot Newmarket nursery where he was outclassed. This is his grade and he must go well. Value Plus had good form to her credit last season before being brought down in a race at Bath in July and has been off the course since. She may need the run. Another consistent performer last season was Outrageous Flirt, who finished a good second to McEldowney on her final start last season having run well on a couple of occasions previously. Monkstown Road probably has more scope than any other runner in the field however, having shaped with real promise when third to Foreign Edition on his debut at Doncaster earlier this month. Monkstown Road is the selection.
