In depth
Verdict
A wide open contest rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Amira,Brave Bear, Art Elegant, and Middle Eastern and the narrow vote is given to Brave Bear. The selection won well last time when beating Flying Heart and although he has a penalty for that win he won with a little in hand looks ahead of the handicapper and he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Amira rates the main danger as he won well last time when beating Montana but he will do well to win this under such a big weight from a bad draw. Art Elegant was a good second behind Premier Prospect last time and is another with place claims but he is hard to win with and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Middle Eastern is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he ran as if in the handicappers grip last time and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Owed and Blushing Russian look well weighted on their best form and could go well at big prices but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Brave Bear.
