Verdict
Dawn At Sea looks the pick of the weights here and gets the verdict ahead of Desperation and Picot de Say. James Fanshawe's filly found the step up to two miles beyond her last time, but had previously put in some excellent efforts over this sort of distance. Her second to Shankly Bond stands out as very strong form against this opposition and she looks the best option. Desperation only went down by three lengths in a Lingfield contest won by Ramsgill. On official ratings it should be very close between Karl Burke's runner and the selection and he should be capable of reaching the frame. Picot de Say is trying this trip for the first time, but did show improved form last time when just over three lengths behind Compton Dragon. so a very open affair to start proceedings and Dawn At Sea is given a tentative vote.
