Verdict

Grand Cherokee,Ours and Jember Red look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the narrow vote is given to Grand Cherokee. The selection was a fair fourth behind Charlie Cool last time out. That form sets the standard in the context of this race and he need only reproduce that effort to win this modest affair.Ours rates the main danger on his latest second behind The Thifty Bear but he gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip on that occasion and for that reason he is passed over here. Jember Red is another worthy of respect as she is a well-bred Polish Precedent filly from a yard that can produce a first time out winner so she should be noted in the market. Of the remainder Peak Seasons has shown enough in two starts to date to suggest she can take a race of this nature but she is another that has given the impression she would be seen to better effect over a longer trip and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Grand Cherokee.
