Mustang Ali, Tojoneski and Balwearie are three against the field in this wide open affair and the nomination is given to Mustang Ali. The selection won well last time out when beating Darghan and although he has a penalty for that win he won with a little in hand and with his promising apprentice taking off a handy seven pounds he is taken to win again under conditions that suit. Tojoneski rates the main danger on his latest third behind Parsley's Return but that was in a seller and this looks much more competitive and for that reason he is opposed. Balwearie is another that could go well as he was a fair fourth behind Fairlie last time and he will appreciate this longer trip. However he looks vulnerable to a better handicapped horse. Lenwade is game and consistent and is sure to run his race under conditions that suit but he will do well to win this from his poor draw and he looks opposable on that basis. Kyle of Lochalsh was behind the selection last and although he is better off at the weights he looks vulnerable to a less exposed type. Of the remainder Majestic Vision is from a yard in form and could run well at a price but he continues to rise in the weights without winning. Of the others United Spirit has dropped to a handy mark and could run well at a price but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Mustang Ali.
