        Verdict

        Mina, Redeye Special and Angel Rays look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the vote is given to Mina. The selection was a fair second behind Anchor Date last time out. That form sets the standard in the context of this race and under similar conditions here he will be hard to beat.Redeye Special rates the main danger as she is a well-bred Efisio filly from a yard that can ready a newcomer and she will not need to be anything special to take a hand in this modest affair. Angel Rays is another worthy of respect as she showed a modicum of ability in two runs last season but she may just need the run after a 320 day absence and for that reason is opposed. Montana is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks vulnerable to a less exposed type. Of the remainder the first time visor for Burhaan will need to have a positive effect if he is to take a hand in the finish and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Mina.
