This looks a particularly weak contest and Uncle Brit is worth a second look dropping into this grade for the first time, despite a couple of months off. No Quarter has never won over a mile but was only beaten a length over 7f at Newcastle last time and makes more appeal than the one-paced Benidorm and three-year-old Red Tide. ABSOLUTE BEARING is only a tentative selection as he's yet to prove his stamina but he won over 6f on an easy surface at Redcar in May and Joey Haynes' claim has to be a major plus in a race like this.
