        Verdict

        This may develop into a match between Newmarket raiders ISLAND OF LIFE (NAP) and Noble Conquest. Both started favourite last time but the former may have more scope having had just the one run, finishing third over 7f at Salisbury when appearing to find the trip on the short side. Her yard has an excellent strike-rate here. Mischief Managed and Isabella are possible improvers but probably have place claims at best along with Richard Fahey’s 225,000gns purchase Ludorum.
