Both Almanack and Emily Goldfinch are now 10lb higher than their latest wins though the latter did go close again at Newmarket last time. But it could pay to stick with ARCTIC FLOWER, who bids for a hat-trick after completing a double over slightly shorter trips in soft ground here last month. Black Dave won a claimer over track and trip in May but was well beaten in soft going last time while Masarzain has slipped down the weights but has yet to encounter a soft surface.
