It may be best to concentrate on high numbers in this very competitive sprint. Caranbola is a specialist at Beverley and has never won in five visits here. He's well drawn as is Henry Bee, a rapidly improving three-year-old who still looks on a fair mark after completing a double though both victories came on ground with plenty of give. Solar Spirit has the best draw of all and he can race from the same mark as when beaten a short-head at Pontefract on Sunday while Lucky Numbers wears an eye-shield for the first time and has dropped to a lowly mark after a long losing run. Also well drawn and on a very fair mark is SAUCY BROWN and it's Dandy Nicholls' charge who gets the vote. He was in cracking form on fast ground at this time a year ago completing a double at Hamiliton and York. He's been racing on much softer going this season and today's conditions should be ideal while he's 7lb lower than when scoring on the Knavesmire.
