Verdict
KING'S WHARF was odds-on to win here last month after scoring at Stratford but unseated his rider after being hampered by a loose horse, opening the door for Dalmo to make a winning debut. The positions may be reversed today, however, and David Evans' charge can also get the better of Ctappers, who easily beat favourite Quiet Route at Market Rasen though the runner-up was making his debut that day and is 6lb better off here. Whipcrackaway was decent on the Flat and could figure if his stamina holds out.
