In depth

Verdict

Another tricky puzzle to solve with The Disengager bouncing back to form at Bangor last month when favourite Taffy Thomas was an early casualty. O'Callaghan Strand's hat-trick bid at Worcester in June was thwarted but he is capable of bouncing back, though stablemate Chesapeake is starting to look well treated and Run Along Boy has been knocking on the door. OLYMPIAN BOY found the long run for home too much at Cartmel last month but won nicely here the time before and seems to respond to Paul Moloney's patient approach. He may well be capable of going close back on this easier course.
