      Verdict

Mick Channon rarely wastes his visits to the northern tracks and it is fare to say that Arfinit should make a bold bid in this company. However, he will struggle to get the better of Wares Home if they run up to the form of their last encounter and Karl Burke's charge is fancied to come out on top here; with True and Delusion others for the shortlist. In contrast, not many of the rest have shown enough to warrant strong support, even at this level, so a watching brief on the betting market is advised for each-way players looking for stable confidence. However, Wares Home reacted well to the first time visor in his last outing and, considering his trainer's aptitude for targeting races of this nature, Wares Home is given the slenderest of votes of confidence to cope with the step up in distance today.
