Anchor Date deserves to get his head in front following some consistent efforts but has become a perennial bridesmaid and Stef Liddiard's colt may be booked for a place at best again so the vote goes to For Scarlett, who is preferred to Free Angel. The last mentioned has shown promise in two starts so far and should be able to pick up a small prize, while Rae Guest's Mina has shown improved form in each of her last two starts but needs to improve again to trouble the selection. Clive Brittain's Punctuation showed only a modicum of ability on his debut but may well step up on that effort here, while Dispol Isle is capable but more exposed than most. The vote then goes to Jeremy Noseda's For Scarlett, who has an obvious chance on the evidence of her last two starts and looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to open her account.
