John Dunlop's Ahdaaf opened her account when landing a maiden here over seven furlongs at the end of July for which the handicapper has left her unchanged and she looks well enough treated to follow up and is taken to do so at the main expense of Aberdovey and Poppys Footprint. The last mentioned has slipped to a winning mark and a market move for Kevin Ryan's filly would be of interest but her recent form is of concern so she may be best watched at present. Dispol Katie has a career high mark to overcome and of more interest may be James Bethell's Strawberry Dale, who has been given a chance by the handicapper. Caragh Mia receives weight all round but Gerard Butler's filly was a major disappointment at Lingfield last time on an admittedly softer surface and may not be one to rely upon. Mark Johnston's Jane Jubilee can race off the same mark as when landing a nursery here over seven furlongs last season and should stay this extra furlong but a bigger threat may come from Michael Bell's Aberdovey, who has been performing with more consistency than most of these of late. Ahdaaf seems to be on a fair mark though for her return to this grade and she gets the vote.
