Locally trained Mary Jane looks to have the best of the draw for the husband and wife team of Nigel and Kim Tinkler and she can justify support ahead of recent winners, Grandma Lily and Columbine. Nigel Tinkler's charge produced an encouraging fourth at Newcastle on her last racecourse appearance and she has not been penalised for that performance. Her draw of 11 should aid matters greatly and the fast ground will not inconvenience. Grandma Lily has been raised 10lb for her recent success over course and distance. She does not have a good draw tonight and may be best avoided. Columbine has been on the go for quite some time but recent efforts have been a tad disappointing on balance. Madie's Pride should strip fitter for a reappearance and could be of interest from a low draw. Distant Diva is coming down the handicap and must be watched in the market for any positive vibes. Mitsuki has Jamie Spencer booked and is given a cursory glance in the market.
