SAHRATI, Duke Of Lucca and Henry Hook may be the three to concentrate on here with preference for Alan King's runner. A fair performer on the Flat who won four times in that sphere, Sahrati made a promising start to his hurdling career when chasing home Thumbs Up at Bangor on soft ground and normal improvement should see him go close. Duke Of Lucca came close to making a winning debut in a Worcester bumper where the first two pulled clear of the field and he merits respect on his debut over obstacles. Henry Hook battled on well to win a Kempton bumper last season but he failed to get competitive on his debut over obstacles earlier in the month. It will be disappointing if he fails to build on the promise of last term but he may prefer quicker ground than he'll encounter here. Scandal looks best of the remainder although support for either Synthe Davis or Exolthir would be of interest but this can go the way of Sahrati.
