In depth

Verdict

The Boss has scope over fences but was engaged at Newbury yesterday so we'll stick with Nick Williams' GOLDEN DUCK, who may be an 11-year-old but looked to be enjoying himself when winning in effortless fashion at Fontwell after a lay-off and is a worth a chance to show that was no fluke. Sultan Fontenaille has a similar profile having won over 3m here last month after more than two years on the sidelines. The top weight makes more appeal than the luckless Lepido, but former pointer Magic Marmalade should make a better chaser than hurdler.
