Jockey bookings were of little value to form followers at the first 2011 Carnival fixture last week and may not be today. Mike De Kock started with two victories and is represented here by Warsaw and Solid Choice, the latter the pick of Christophe Soumillon but unraced since beaten a long way in the UAE Derby on World Cup night last March. Warsaw didn't enjoy reverting to turf last week and is much better on this surface while Il Grande Maurizio, who was fancied a week ago, hated the turf and ran no sort of race. Godolphin's Sahara Kingdom has had just four starts, landing a minor race on Polytrack at Lingfield in 2009. He should get involved as should Swinging Sixties, who returned to action in excellent shape, twice finishing runner-up here though over longer trips. AAMAAQ gets the vote as he's been in good form over a mile over the past few weeks and is just as happy over tonight's trip.
