DOCTOR ROBERT can come out on top here at the main expense of Shut The Bar and Spanish Conquest. Tim Vaughan has got his string in good form at present and our selection Doctor Robert is a case in point. This 4-year-old has won his last two races, most recently with a bit in hand at Fakenham and he looks a good bet to complete the hat-trick. Shut The Bar could be his chief rival as he looked in need of the run on his seasonal reappearance at Fakenham last month and he looks to have a realistic chance on his return to handicap company. Spanish Conquest failed to settle when last seen out at Stratford and he failed to give his true running. He has got a decent strike-rate over hurdles so he can't be ruled out, but he has a bit to prove at present. Mexican Bob has got course and distance form and he should be fit from a couple of recent spins on the flat. Red Kingdom hails from a shrewd yard and a watching brief on the market is advised. However this looks a good opportunity for Doctor Robert to complete the hat-trick and he is put forward as the pick.
