Verdict

Typically low grade fare that can be taken by CAVALRY TWILL with Calzaghe and Manathon others to note in the market. Jimmy Frost has a good record in races of this nature and while this mare has struggled to get her head in front, the combination of a shorter trip and better ground will suit. Calzaghe showed ability on the flat for Karl Burke and is a surprising entrant over hurdles. He had cut no ice at the game earlier in his career but Jim Best is a past master of gleaning improvement from others' castoffs. Manathon has been the subject of a couple of gambles so the market needs close attention once again. Brigadore is potentially well treated on some of his old form though his recent efforts have been little to write home about. Seeu Central is a fascinating raider from the Phillip Rothwell yard. White Moss should have won more races than she has in the past and this has much to do with the fact that she finds nowhere near as much as she promises. Posh Emily has won a plating event in the past at this track though may need a little more rain in order to be at her best. Cavalry Twill needs a leap of faith to fancy her but we will offer her up as value against the likely market leaders.
