Verdict

Avanti Express has had plenty of injury problems and is nearing the veteran stage of his career but still looks the one to be on in the day's feature event. The TEAMtalk selection had Kassala behind when a workmanlike winner on his return over this course and distance earlier in the month and remains well treated on the pick of his form despite a subsequent 5lb rise. Confirmed front runner Ei Ei came good at Worcester last month but was readily held off this mark next time and appears vulnerable once again while Special Agenda would have preferred more ease in the ground. Native Fling is a dual course and distance winner who goes well fresh but has something to prove after flopping when last seen in action in May and is worth opposing at the likely cramped odds.
