Verdict
There is not a great deal of form to go on here but SURE JOSIE SURE seemingly has the best of what is on offer having run a highly creditable third behind Par Avion at Doncaster in January and a reproduction of that effort may well suffice for David Pipe's filly who gets the vote ahead of Viking Blond and Daaloob. Tim Vaughan's gelding made a pleasing debut when chasing home Giordano Bruno at Hereford last month and he has solid claims on that evidence. Henrietta Knight's Nehemiah ran a fair race behind Switched Off at Southwell last month but the field were fairly tightly bunched at the finish that day so the form may not amount to a great deal and he looks best watched. Robo made a promising debut at Kempton recently and makes more appeal than John Berry's Extreme Conviction, who has been well held in both starts so far. The newcomers make limited appeal with Viking Blond, from the in-from Nigel Twiston-Davies stable looking easily the pick of them and it is hard to get away from Sure Josie Sure.
