Nigel Twiston-Davies has his team in good heart at present so Ere Alfie has to be considered but he would need to improve on all known form to trouble the judge here in a race taken to go to DEEP SQUEEZE, who gets the verdict ahead of Boo. The last mentioned has yet to translate his flat form to hurdles but has shown some promise in both starts and James Unett's gelding has to be respected. David Pipe's The Accordionist has been well beaten in both outings so far and, while it may be too soon to write him off, he is hard to back with any confidence. Hugh Collingridge's Royal Premier was capable on the flat but is another that has yet to show a similar level of form over timber. The vote then goes to Deep Squeeze, a bumper winner on his debut, who showed improved form on his latest start over hurdles when a good third here last time at the beginning of the month.
