Verdict
Now Is The Winter won a bumper here in March last year but pulled up on his hurdling debut at Ludlow in January. C'Est Le Bonheur won a point and a bumper before falling when held on his hurdling debut but ran well enough at Kelso last month to suggest he can get into contention. Filou Des Issards was twice narrowly beaten over an extended 2m at Taunton last winter but has run very poorly since returning to action. Winning point-to-pointer Le Tueur was beaten a long way into second behind the odds-on Iconic Muddle at Plumpton but should improve for that though it's about time MY WAY was winning a race. Formerly trained in France, he showed potential over hurdles but was expected to do better over fences. He ran in very strong company last winter and looks a bit different class to these. Peachey wasn't beaten far when fourth at Huntingdon but that was almost two years ago.
