Michael Blake's Sir Bumble is bound to be popular with backers following his Newton Abbot success and two subsequent placed efforts at Worcester and Southwell last month and he has every chance of bouncing back to winning ways but another 2lb rise since his latest start makes this more difficult. Estrica was well held over hurdles on her most recent start in April but cannot be ruled out on her first outing over fences on what is her debut for Tim Vaughan and she makes more appeal than Risk Challenge, who has been running well in recent starts over hurdles but has disappointed in four previous runs over fences so he looks best watched. Preference then is for Jonjo O'Neill's KHAZAR, who bounced back to form when a good winner at Fontwell in May and ran better, following a below par effort at the same venue, when a fair third behind My Pal Val at Worcester. The slightly longer trip today should suit the seven-year-old and he can resume winning ways.
