Verdict

Not the strongest of starts to the day and BLACK FALCON is a token selection. John Harris has kept the 10-year-old to the Fibresand for nigh on two years, but he does have a course and distance win to his name here on fast ground and he should be very effective in this grade from a mark of 45, so we suggest him. Quince would not be winning out of turn. He goes well over the trip and has been given more of a chance by the assessor after a decent effort last time. Dimashq has won handicaps off similar marks to today's and likes it here, so she is respected, and What A Day has claims, though stablemate Black Falcon is preferred.
