BALTIC BEN was nothing out of the ordinary on the level for Eve Johnson Houghton but ran better when last seen when third in a Thirsk maiden in May and he looks worth chancing on his first outing for Tim Vaughan on his hurdling debut which may bring about improvement in the three-year-old. Alan Swinbank's Forsyth was capable on the flat but was well held by Two Kisses first time up over timber at Bangor and he now looks best watched. Brendan Powell has done well with a couple of runners in similar contests this term so Massachusetts has to be considered on his hurdling debut, while Charlie Egerton's Sefton Park in surely better than he showed when finishing behind Forsyth.
