Captain Cloudy is in top form at present and can land a hat-trick at the expense of Qabas and Kilindini. The move to Sheena West from David Flood has revitalised Captain Cloudy, the five-year-old proving the point when gaining his first ever success on the Flat at Folkestone in August. There has been no stopping him since as the gelding has gone on to gain back-to-back victories at Fontwell, and off his current mark of 91 he must be supported to go in again. He gets lumps of weight off Qabas who has his first outing since chasing home Rift Valley at Market Rasen in July. The latter appears a bit harshly handicapped at present and it will be interesting to see what Peter Bowen does with him as there is always the option of going over fences. Kilindini won well at Worcester last time, making all to beat Explosive Fox in novice company, so Emma Lavelle's charge is worth a mention, more so than the likes of Little Task and Nightwatchman. However, it is hard to escape the claims of Captain Cloudy in his current mood and he should take all the beating.
