      In depth

      Verdict

Keltic Lord won so convincingly last time he will take some stopping here and is a confident choice to beat Mantilla and Multeen Gunner. The selection had the race won a long way out when beating Pillar Of Fire at Market Rasen. The official winning margin was twelve lengths, but that could easily have been doubled and if in that sort of mood again today he should follow up. Mantilla has had a few training problems and was pulled up on his recent return to the track following a long lay off. However if he can recapture the best of last season's form he would be in with a chance. Multeen Gunner didn't jump well at Worcester last time and had to be pulled up. However he is better judged on his previous effort at Sedgefield when just pipping Maidstone Monument. The best of the others could be Billy Ballbreaker, who also has recent winning form, but Keltic Lord cannot be ignored after his last effort and is the one to be on.
