Verdict

FLORES SEA can land the nightcap at the principal expense of Obe Royal and Spin Again. The gelding did not do a lot wrong when finishing second to Highly Regal earlier in the month and now that he is back over seven furlongs, compensation can await. Obe Royal was turned over at Evens by a 66/1 shot at Wolverhampton earlier in the week. He is back in the visor this afternoon having worn blinkers on that occasion. Spin Again has won at Wolverhampton in the past. This is his first run for Dandy Nicholls and the stable are running well at present. Secret Dubai completes his tour of the British all-weather tracks having visited the other four without success. Whitbarrow did not get the run of the race when third to This One's For Eddy last week. He is consistent though exposed. Mr Toshiwonka and Fools Gold have struggled to trouble the judge of late though would not be out of it if getting back to something like their best. A competitive enough race to close proceedings and for the winner, we return to Flores Sea.
