OBE GOLD has plenty in his favour and is nominated ahead of Albero Di Giuda and Bo McGinty. Paul Howling's charge has been holding his form well recently in similar grade and he was a winner over this course and distance back in January. As a result he has to give weight away to most of his rivals but he should get the strong pace that he needs and can triumph again. Albero Di Giuda has been in good form in handicap grade but he looks high enough in the weights hence the drop in class today, whilst Don Pele has plenty to do at these weights but he battled on well at Kempton last time and comes here in rude health. Bo McGinty runs this track well and has been unlucky to bump into the progressive Where's Reiley recently, Madison Belle may be vulnerable dropping in trip, whilst Not My Choice has run three good races in defeat here recently. Sea Land needs close inspection in the betting now dropped in trip/grade, whilst Tournedos is the class act in the race but the eight-year-old looks to have lost his enthusiasm. A competitive seller, with the nod going to Obe Gold.
