Verdict

DIRAR can defy a penalty to land this handicap hurdle; Bathwick Man and Priest Field are also worth considering. There are not too many miles on the clock for our selection and he won in the style of an improver at Worcester earlier in the month when he made light work of beating Blaze Trailer. He is up 7lbs for that success but the likelihood is that it will not be enough to stop him. Bathwick Man is a big danger as he pushed Aberdeen Park all the way at Stratford last time and the form was franked when Aberdeen Park won again on Tuesday night. Priest Field won well last time at Worcester when he beat Akram but he had previously been well beaten and his overall form is a bit hit and miss. Peaceful Means was a winner last time out but she has more on her plate today and she looks opposable. Dirar is selected to follow up his recent success.
