Crocolat, Dalriath and Our Emmy Lou look to be the leading players here and the vote is given to Crocolat. The selection is in great heart at present and is proven on this surface. She won very easily here last time in a claimer and although this is more difficult, she won with such ease last time that she should be good enough to defy the rise in grade. Dalriath was well beaten at Ripon last time but this mare does have ability and has also got form on this surface so can't be ruled out, even though we are prepared to oppose her on this occasion. Our Emmy Lou hails from the Sir Mark Prescott yard and is entitled to plenty of respect. She has shown promise in all three of her runs in handicap company and if she handles the surface then she could go well. Faraway Echo won well last time and is another worth considering, but for the winner we return to Crocolat.
