My Drop can gain another course victory at the expense of New York Oscar, Sheriff's Silk and Off The Record. This has the makings of a most competitive event in which My Drop can make his first venture into handicap company a winning one. Eoghan O'Neill's colt was last seen when losing his maiden tag here over five furlongs in January, and connections have resisted the temptation of running him again until now. There should be plenty of improvement to come, and he can beat his more exposed rivals. One of those is New York Oscar, an odds-on winner at Lingfield when last seen over three months ago. That was in an apprentice claimer, after which he was snapped up by Alan McCabe. He is another likely improver along with Sheriff's Silk who did not help his cause here last time when hanging under pressure. Off The Record caught the eye with the manner of his success here five months ago, gets in on a low weight and could be one to follow this term. Chjimes has the class to prevail, but has not won since his debut, and although meeting much more inferior rivals than normal, is best watched. The pin comes down on My Drop.
