      Verdict

Several have form on the surface though none of these have been at their best recently. But MR CARBONATOR won off today's mark over 1m2f here early in the year and having gone close over this longer trip subsequently, he may be the one to side with. Di's Gift won over track and trip back in March but was well beaten here on his reappearance along with The Lock Master while Luv U Whatever also scored here in March and has won a couple of amateur races elsewhere subsequently. Star Ascending won six times in the first few months of the year including a hat-trick of course wins and could bounce back at any time while it won't be long before Ruth Carr finds an opportunity for King Of Naples off his current mark though he debuts on the Fibresand today.
