Verdict

POINT ZERO has raced three times at the track and found one too good on each occasion. Beaten only a nose in a claimer at last week's meeting here, Mick Appleby's charge may finally get his head in front. Wind Storm looks a genuine threat if handling the surface having also placed on several occasions including last month's second at Newcastle and headgear is applied for the first time today. Lambrini Lullaby has plenty to find with the selection but Double Cover is interesting given he's a half-brother to the smart sprinter and Fibresand winner Take Cover and is preferred to fellow newcomers Orient Express and Amouri Gleam.
