Stravmour gets the vote over Extra Cover, with Next Flight and Oops others to consider. Stravmour has been successful over the course and distance in the past and was fancied to score over shorter here last time. In the end he did not have another gear when tackled by Bretton and went down by just half-a-length. The way that he kept on suggests that the move back up in trip will make him a leading player here, and he is the one to beat. Extra Cover disappointed in claiming company here last time, but that was on the Turf course and he now returns to the Fibresand. His last win was over 12 furlongs and this will be his first try at today's trip, so there is a question mark over his ability to stay. Oops was successful over two miles at Beverley last July and has been running on ground too fast of late. His stamina will come more into play here and he should be there or thereabouts, but Stravmour has the best claims of all.
