Celtic Step is well treated at these weights and dropped into this grade for the first time, he looks capable of going close, but preference is for SWISS ART. Ruth Carr's gelding has enjoyed all five of his career wins on the Fibresand, four of which have come over this trip. He was good enough to win a handicap off today's mark of 70 in the summer, although he has been thrashed off slightly higher marks in two recent runs here. However, back in a seller he is fancied. Celtic Step is 2lbs better off with the selection than if this were a handicap, and he has been campaigned almost exclusively in that sphere until connections have presumably decided that selling company might yield his first success for three years. He is effective over this trip and he didn't look beaten by the surface when tried here in September. If there is much in the way of support for him then he looks one to fear. Ocean Legend won a Lingfield seller last month and acts well here, having previously broken his maiden at the track. He is one of those more advantageously placed at these weights and is respected. Clear Sailing is another course and distance winner in the line-up, and he goes very well in this grade, so he can make his presence felt, but Swiss Art is suggested.
