Everything here points to success for SOLICITOR, who won't be much of a price but should be too good for Bubber and Dandarrell. Southwell is comfortably the best of the artificial surfaces for trainer Mark Johnston, who has a superb 30 per cent strike rate here over the past five seasons, and he has bettered that with one winner from just two runners here since the current winter campaign began. He also has a very good strike rate here with his juveniles, which augurs well for the chance of Solicitor, who ran green but with plenty of promise on his Yarmouth debut, and should come on plenty for that smart effort and looks good enough here. Richard Fahey's Bubber is also likely to show a fair bit more than a moderate enough Catterick debut. That was on soft ground, and she handled it well, and this surface may well suit, while the step up in trip looks a positive. Dandarrell performed with credit, also with cut in the ground, at Doncaster earlier in the month and is another potential improver for both the run and today's longer trip. With the remainder all appearing to have to make significant improvements on what we have seen to get involved at the business end, we will take Solicitor to lay down the law.
