Alan Swinbank's Lucky Judge can race off a 5lb lower mark than when scoring at Thirsk last month but was well beaten on his only previous start on this surface and may be best watched in a race that is taken to go to Queen's Fantasy, who is preferred to Next Flight. The last mentioned was running in Banded stakes races when last seen here and may not have the class, even for this grade. Top weight Turtle Dancer has to be respected having run well when second to Aleron at Newcastle last month on his return following a long absence. However, Brian Ellison's gelding may bounce and preference is for Queen's Fantasy. The Derek Haydn Jones-trained filly is still relatively unexposed, comes here in good form having won a 1m4f handicap at Wolverhampton last time and promises to stay at least this far. The eight-year-old High Policy is still capable of fair form and is another worthy of a mention along with the reappearing Swain Davis but the vote goes to Queen's Fantasy.
