Verdict

Not too many of these can be given a realistic chance and the vote goes to Inistrahull Island, who is preferred to Weet Watchers and Queen of Night. The last mentioned receives weight from her two main rivals but has given little sign of encouragement in admittedly better company of late. The former Reg Hollinshead-trained Weet Watchers, who is now with David Nicholls, has shown signs of a revival of late and has to be respected but may struggle to give weight to the selection. The Mark Tompkins-trained Inistrahull Island has been given a break since a winter campaign on the all-weather during which he showed his best form over this trip. A reproduction of his best should suffice. Jalouhar and Efimac are capable but need to improve to take a hand in the finish in a race that is taken to go to Inistrahull Island.
